Season Structure & Membership Policy
The Journeymen Chorus operates on a “season” schedule. As opposed to the year-round “weekly lodge meeting” schedule, our “seasons” typically consist of just 3-5 rehearsals, with each rehearsal lasting about three hours. Each season concludes with one or more performances. Because we don’t gather nearly as often or as long as a typical choir, we have high expectations of our members to prepare their music in advance so we can be efficient in our rehearsals and achieve the highest levels of musical excellence. We don’t waste time because we don’t have time to waste.
Audition Process
Each season will be preceded by a round of auditions, which we will announce on our social channels and via email to those who have reached out to us ahead of time. If you’re interested in an audition, fill out the contact form below.
